A French-style rectangular coffee table from Mingrenju, built with a solid beech wood frame and legs and topped with tempered glass. The deep red-brown lacquered finish is set off by gold carved detailing — a long surface for tea service, books and flowers in front of the sofa.
Description
This is a French-style coffee table, and the first thing you notice is the finish: a deep red-brown lacquer with gold-highlighted carving along the apron and legs. The carving is restrained rather than ornate, so it holds its own in a room with wood or leather seating without fighting the rest of the furniture.
The frame, legs and base are all solid beech wood — the same timber throughout, so the grain reads consistently from the top edge down to the floor. The lacquered finish unifies the tone and gives it a soft, settled sheen.
The top is tempered glass. It keeps the solid wood from feeling heavy and makes everyday cleanup straightforward. Because the glass is flat and consistent, it also gives you a stable surface for a tray, a stack of books or a vase without worrying about rings.
The rectangular top is the practical part: a long, open run where a tea set, a fruit bowl and a book can sit side by side instead of stacked. There is no folding or extending mechanism, so the proportions stay fixed once you set it in place.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
