- Made by Mextra, a Dongguan-based furniture brand; model YKB06
- Metal frame and metal legs, finished with electroplating
- Gray bouclé upholstery on the seat and the solid back
- Integrated arms and a solid back for a supported sit
- Contemporary silhouette that suits a study, a dining area or a living room corner
- Not foldable and not stackable — a single fixed chair, not a spare to tuck away
- A floor sample piece, so the look is a single chair rather than a mass-market design
The Mextra YKB06 is a contemporary chair with a metal frame and metal legs finished in electroplating, upholstered in gray bouclé across the seat and solid back. Arms are part of the frame. It reads clean and quiet from any angle, so it works at a desk, at a dining table, or as a standalone seat in a living room.
Description
The Mextra YKB06 is a contemporary single chair. The gray palette and restrained lines keep it quiet in a room, while the arms run into the solid back so the profile reads as one continuous shape rather than a collection of parts.
The structure comes from a metal frame and metal legs, with an electroplated finish that gives the surface a fine, even sheen. Seat and solid back are wrapped in bouclé — a short, dense loop pile that shifts in tone as the light moves across it. Arms are part of the frame, so there is somewhere to rest your forearms. The chair does not fold and does not stack; it is meant to stay where you put it.
Use it as a desk chair in a study or reading corner, pair it with a dining table, or place a single one beside a sofa or in a bedroom corner. Mextra is a Dongguan brand, and this piece is a floor sample.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
How does inspection before shipping work?
Every piece is inspected on video before it leaves the warehouse, and we send you the footage to approve — only after you confirm do we load the container. We check appearance, structure, hardware and that all parts are present.
Can I return an item?
All sales are final for subjective reasons (change of mind, wrong size, colour variance, how it looks in place) — these are direct-showroom goods priced accordingly. If something arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days with photos or video and we refund the damaged portion; we will not ask you to ship furniture back. Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.
