A three-piece lounge set from Meilele in a restrained new Chinese style. The chair and side table are built from solid North American red oak, with a slatted back, no arms, and a solid brass pull as the only metal accent. Suited to a living room, study, or covered balcony.

Description

This three-piece set takes a new Chinese approach rather than a traditional one. There is no carved ornament; the slatted back and armless profile keep the lines quiet, so the chair sits comfortably in a living room, study, or covered balcony without demanding attention.

The chair frame, back, seat, and legs are all solid North American red oak, finished in a brown tone that lets the grain read clearly. The side table is matched in the same material so the group reads as one piece. A solid brass pull is the only metal detail, set against the warmth of the wood.

The seat and back are solid wood slats with no upholstery, no tufting, and no removable cushion, which gives a firmer sit intended for reading, short rests, and conversation. The chair and table can be used together or placed separately to suit the room.

  • If something arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days of delivery with photos or video, and we will refund the damaged portion.
  • We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.
  • Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.

Frequently asked questions

Where does your furniture come from?

We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.

What's the quality like?

A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.

Is there anything I should know before ordering?

Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:

  • Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
  • Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
  • Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.

Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?

Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.

What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?

The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.

How does inspection before shipping work?

Every piece is inspected on video before it leaves the warehouse, and we send you the footage to approve — only after you confirm do we load the container. We check appearance, structure, hardware and that all parts are present.

Can I return an item?
