A French-style oval coffee table in dark brown gloss, built on a solid North American poplar frame with hand-carved detailing and cabriole legs. A single pull-out tray keeps remotes and coasters within reach, while the wood-veneer top wipes clean in one pass.
Description
This coffee table takes its cues from French furniture: an oval top over four cabriole legs that swell at the shoulder, taper inward and turn gently outward at the foot. From the front you read a continuous curve rather than a straight panel. The dark brown gloss finish holds the grain down and reflects light softly across the top.
The frame, legs and main structure are solid North American poplar; the top is finished in wood veneer. Carving along the apron and legs is done by hand, so the depth and turn of the pattern are not identical piece to piece — the clearest difference between hand work and a moulded copy.
A single pull-out tray sits beneath the top, sized for remotes, coasters, tissues and reading glasses, leaving the surface clear for the things you actually want on show. Dark brown sits comfortably with wood floors, beige rugs and darker leather sofas, which makes it an easy centrepiece for a living room used every day. It ships knock-down, so moving it into the room is less of a fight.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
