Description
The Markor dining chair is a straightforward piece: a solid wood frame with a fabric-upholstered seat and back, kept free of ornament except for the detailing on the frame.
The silhouette is armless with a straight, solid back, which makes the chair easy to sit into and step away from, and lets it sit close to the table without crowding the space behind it. Seat and back are both wrapped in fabric, so the back gives continuous support rather than a hard edge.
The wood is finished in black paint, with hand-painted gold detailing worked along the frame contours. The gold is a drawn line rather than a broad coating — quiet from across the room, more visible up close. Because the detailing is applied by hand, the width and direction of the line vary slightly from chair to chair.
It works with dark solid wood tables and mid-tone walnut interiors, and reads just as well on its own as a side chair in a study, entryway, or bedroom. Fabric and solid wood sit easily in modern, vintage, and industrial rooms alike.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
