A round dining table from Markor's Romantic Star City collection, with a two-tone shimmer oak veneer top over an American red oak solid wood frame and pedestal. The water-based finish uses AkzoNobel coating. The pedestal base keeps the seating edge clear on all sides, and matching two-tone chairs are available separately.
Description
The Romantic Star City round dining table sits at the glam end of the range, carried by a beige-leaning two-tone palette rather than ornament. Its top is a shimmer oak veneer laid in a two-tone parquet pattern, so the grain and colour blocks shift in depth as the light moves across the surface. A round top on a single pedestal base leaves the seating edge clear all the way around, which makes both sitting down and moving past the table easier.
In terms of construction, the frame, legs and pedestal are American red oak solid wood, with the shimmer oak veneer top. The surface is finished with a water-based process using AkzoNobel coating, giving a finish that reads soft against the oak grain.
It is intended as the main table in a dining room, for everyday meals as well as hosting. If you want a matched set, the two-tone dining chairs from the same collection can be added to form a complete round dining table and chair set, keeping colour and shape consistent across the room.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
How does inspection before shipping work?
Every piece is inspected on video before it leaves the warehouse, and we send you the footage to approve — only after you confirm do we load the container. We check appearance, structure, hardware and that all parts are present.
Can I return an item?
All sales are final for subjective reasons (change of mind, wrong size, colour variance, how it looks in place) — these are direct-showroom goods priced accordingly. If something arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days with photos or video and we refund the damaged portion; we will not ask you to ship furniture back. Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.
