The Luyi Kaisha HDX9999 Crab Chair group is made from solid teak imported from Java, Indonesia, hand-carved from whole tree roots with solid wood seats, backs, and arms in a lacquered brown finish. A Gabon-sourced Wu Jin Mu square side table completes the arrangement for living rooms and tea rooms.
Description
The HDX9999 Crab Chair group comes from Shenzhen Tianyi Furniture under the Luyi Kaisha label. Its silhouette draws on Chinese root-carving traditions: flared armrests, a solid back and a weighty profile that reads as sculpture as much as seating.
Frame, seat, back and legs are all solid teak imported from Java, Indonesia. Each chair is hand-carved from a single tree root rather than assembled from joined panels, then finished with a lacquer that brings out a deep brown tone. Because the wood is a natural material worked by hand, grain and root form differ from piece to piece.
A Gabon-sourced Wu Jin Mu square side table sits between the chairs so the group can be placed as one coordinated setting. Suited to living rooms, tea rooms, studies and lounge areas, it works for daily use and as a solid wood statement in the room.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
