A French-style lounge chair from Louis XIV, built on a birch solid wood frame with a lacquered finish and upholstered in imported striped velvet. High back, arms and nailhead trim give it a defined silhouette; the generous scale suits a living room, study or bedroom corner.
Description
The Louis XIV striped velvet lounge chair takes a French direction: a high back, arms and nailhead trim running along the edges, which gives the velvet a crisp, tailored border.
The frame and legs are birch solid wood, finished with Dabaolac lacquer. Seat and back are upholstered in imported striped velvet, and the stripe keeps the gray palette from reading flat. The cushion is fixed, so the chair holds together as one piece.
It is a generously scaled chair, roomy enough to sit back in. Place it beside a sofa, in a reading corner or by a bedroom window as a single chair with presence. Ships in the original carton, in stock, freight collect.

- If something arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days of delivery with photos or video, and we will refund the damaged portion.
- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.
- Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
How does inspection before shipping work?
