A long, low coffee table from the Geniste Wujinmu collection by Jianxin Meijia. The body is built from solid wujinmu hardwood imported from Gabon, cut from old-growth logs, and topped with a natural marble slab that can be selected from available pieces. Description
The Geniste Wujinmu collection is Jianxin Meijia's solid wood line for Chinese-style living rooms, and the HDX9996 is its longer coffee table. The proportions follow a traditional Chinese long console — clean lines, no ornament — with deep reddish-brown wood set against a natural marble top for a warm-and-cool contrast that works in both Chinese and new-Chinese living rooms.
The body is made from wujinmu hardwood imported from Gabon, Africa, selected from old-growth logs. The wood is dense and close-grained, and the high-gloss finish makes the grain read clearly across the surface. The top is natural marble, so the veining is unique to each slab and pieces can be chosen according to preference. Pairing wood with stone is a familiar move in Chinese interiors, and it holds up well to everyday use.
The long rectangular top suits a three- or four-seat sofa. Day to day it holds tea service, a fruit tray, books, or decorative objects, and it also works as a low transition piece within an open living room. Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
