Description
The restraint of Italian design comes from proportion and line, not from stacked ornament. This coffee table holds a flat top over four straight legs with tightened corners, so it anchors a square seating group with a long sofa and lounge chairs without crowding a villa or open-plan living room.
The frame and legs are solid German beech, built as a direct four-leg structure. The top is ebony wood veneer laid as marquetry — the veneer is arranged along the grain to form a mirrored, light-and-dark pattern. Hand-painted gold lines follow the inlay seams and the tabletop edge; thin and continuous, they read as quiet from across the room and only reveal themselves up close.
A piano-lacquer finish gives the surface a flat, low-sheen reflectivity, so light sits differently on the grain and on the gold lines. The square top works from all four sides and doubles as a surface for books and objects. The base is fixed — no folding or extending — which keeps the proportions stable.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
