Description
The Songjian nesting set takes its proportions from Song-dynasty furniture: round tops, a plain four-leg base, nothing added. It sits easily in modern Chinese, wabi-sabi and quiet Eastern interiors.
Every part is made from imported zebrawood — top, frame and legs are the same solid wood. Zebrawood has a clear, high-contrast figure, and the pieces are left with that grain exposed, so no two tables look quite alike.
The tables ship as raw wood. They are unfinished, with no stain, oil or topcoat applied. That leaves the finish to you: go dark for a walnut tone, or keep them pale and close to the natural timber.
The set pairs one tall round table with one low round table. Stacked, they read as a single layered piece; split apart, the low table works beside a sofa or next to the taller one. Round tops mean no corners in the walking path. This is a fixed-size set — it does not fold and does not extend.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
