Songjian is Huipu's Song-dynasty-inspired line: straight lines, no tufting, no nailhead trim. Frame, legs and arms are imported zebrawood, left unfinished so the grain stays visible, while the seat and back are wrapped in matte beige cotton-linen. Three seat cushions and a soft back make it the living room's main seat.
Description
The Songjian sofa is built around the restraint of Song-dynasty furniture: straight lines, a calm overall profile, and proportions that let the wood do the talking. There is no tufting and no nailhead trim — the frame meets the upholstery and stops there.
Structure is solid wood throughout, with the frame, legs and arms all made from imported zebrawood. The wood is left unfinished rather than lacquered, so the grain and natural tone read as raw timber. Seat and back are upholstered in cotton-linen in a beige tone — a matte fabric that sits easily beside pale wood and stone floors. Three separate seat cushions and soft back cushions give the piece a relaxed but orderly look, and the arms close the silhouette at both ends.
In a living room this works as the main seating position: a sofa you arrange a low table and a side table around rather than push against a wall. Rectangular in plan, non-folding and non-swiveling, it stays where you put it. New-Chinese, warm-minimal and wood-forward interiors all take to it.

- All sales are final. These are direct-showroom goods priced accordingly, so we cannot accept returns or refunds for change of mind, wrong size, colour variance or fit.
- If something arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days of delivery with photos or video, and we will refund the damaged portion.
- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.
- Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
