A new-Chinese bar stool from Heyan's Wuyan Collection. Frame, legs and body are all solid rosewood (Pterocarpus erinaceus), with a square footprint, low back and no arms, plus a faux-leather upholstered seat. A lacquered finish keeps the grain readable — at home at a kitchen island, home bar or tea room.
Description
The H-WYHN01-ZT comes from Heyan's Wuyan Collection and carries the name "Hai Nei Cun Zhi Ji" — a friend at the far edge of the world. The form is deliberately reduced: a square seat, a low back, no arms. That restraint is what lets it sit inside a modern kitchen or a tea room without competing with anything around it.
Frame, legs and body are all solid rosewood (Pterocarpus erinaceus), chosen for density and a clear grain. The seat sits on structure rather than ornament, and the lacquered finish preserves the wood's own colour and figure instead of masking it. It reads well against stone counters, dark timber joinery and lacquer finishes alike.
The seat is upholstered in faux leather over a single cushion. With the low back and no arms, the seating position stays fairly upright — the kind of stool you use for a conversation across the counter rather than a long sink-in lounge. Being armless, it tucks close to the bar top, which makes it workable on a kitchen island, a wall-side bar or the walkway edge of an open-plan kitchen.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
