A new-Chinese entryway cabinet from Heyan's Wu series. Body, frame and legs are solid African rosewood, a hongmu-family timber, finished in a warm reddish-brown lacquer. The rectangular freestanding body sits flat against the wall, and interior storage keeps keys, bags and daily carry out of sight.
Description
The Ma Dao Cheng Gong entryway cabinet comes from Heyan's Wu series, where new-Chinese design is handled with restraint: straight lines, quiet proportions, nothing shouting for attention in the hall.
The body is built in solid African rosewood, a hongmu-family timber with a clear, even grain and a deep, calm tone. A lacquered finish brings out the reddish brown and makes the surface straightforward to wipe down. Body, frame and legs are the same solid wood, so the piece reads consistently from the top edge to the floor.
The rectangular freestanding body sits flat against the wall and is proportioned for an entryway corridor rather than to fill it. Inside, the storage takes keys, bags and umbrellas out of view, leaving the top clear for a tray, a vase or a single object. It suits new-Chinese and modern-Chinese interiors, and settles easily into plainer schemes where the wood and the lines do the work.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
How does inspection before shipping work?
Every piece is inspected on video before it leaves the warehouse, and we send you the footage to approve — only after you confirm do we load the container. We check appearance, structure, hardware and that all parts are present.
Can I return an item?
All sales are final for subjective reasons (change of mind, wrong size, colour variance, how it looks in place) — these are direct-showroom goods priced accordingly. If something arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days with photos or video and we refund the damaged portion; we will not ask you to ship furniture back. Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.
