The Hesterburg D160N-150 pairs a solid German beech frame with an imported top-grain cowhide leather seat and back, finished in AKZO lacquer with a traditional American stain. The armless profile slides easily under a dining table and works just as well as a desk chair.
Description
The Hesterburg D160N-150 is an American-style dining chair built the traditional way: a solid German beech frame and legs, with the seat and solid back wrapped in imported top-grain cowhide leather. Wood and leather is the pairing you see in most American dining rooms, and it is why this chair reads as classic rather than trendy.
The frame is finished in AKZO lacquer using a traditional American stain technique, giving it a settled tone and a visible grain that holds its own next to a dark wood table or a leather sofa. Because there are no arms, the seat stays open on both sides — easier to sit down and get up, and easier to line several chairs along a table. The nailhead trim along the back edge is restrained, but it is the detail that makes the chair read as American.
It is not only a dining chair. The same proportions work in a study or an open living area as a desk chair. The leather and the solid wood frame are both fixed — the chair does not fold and does not stack — so it suits a spot where it will stay.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
