The Hesterburg D173N-150 pairs a German beech solid wood frame with an imported top-grain oil-wax leather seat. AKZO paint and an American finishing process give it a deep, even color, while the armless open back keeps the profile clean. Description
The Hesterburg D173N-150 takes the long way around. It has the presence of American furniture, but almost none of the extra linework. The armless open back keeps the silhouette narrow, so the chair sits easily at a long dining table without crowding the people next to it.
The frame, legs and back are all German beech solid wood, with the grain left visible rather than covered by veneer. The seat is imported top-grain oil-wax leather, keeping its natural pores and hand, and it will develop its own sheen with daily use. AKZO paint is applied with an American finishing process, so the color stays deep and the wood keeps its layers.
One seat cushion, edged with a single line of nailhead trim — a familiar American detail, kept restrained. The chair does not fold and does not stack, which suits it to being a fixed piece you keep.
It isn't limited to the dining room: it reads just as well as a study chair or a guest chair in a home office. Sold as a single chair.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
