The Genieste round side table pairs a solid North American ash frame with a natural marble top, each slab selected for its own veining. Finished in a glossy dark Umkin brown, it reads as Chinese-inspired without feeling heavy. Round top, single pedestal base — easy to set beside a sofa, a bed, or a reading chair.

Description

The Genieste round side table belongs to the Umkin Wood series, a Chinese-inspired line built around solid timber and stone. The frame is solid North American ash from mature trees — dense and substantial, finished in a glossy dark Umkin brown that sits comfortably next to both fabric and leather upholstery.

The top is natural marble. Every slab has its own veining, and you can choose the piece you want. Frame and legs are solid wood throughout. The glossy finish catches light on both the marble and the wood.

A round top on a single pedestal base means there are no sharp corners to catch a shin or block a walkway. Set it beside a sofa as a side table, next to a bed, or in a tea corner. It also pairs with the other pieces in the same series if you prefer a matched set.

Where does your furniture come from?

We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.

What's the quality like?

A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.

Is there anything I should know before ordering?

Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:

  • Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
  • Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
  • Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.

Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?

Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.

What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?

The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.

How does inspection before shipping work?

Every piece is inspected on video before it leaves the warehouse, and we send you the footage to approve — only after you confirm do we load the container. We check appearance, structure, hardware and that all parts are present.

Can I return an item?
