Description
This sideboard is less about ornament than about proportion: a long, quiet case with French molding at the edges and a mid-century sense of restraint in the overall stance. Closed storage sits above and below, with an open counter in between that takes a tray, a stack of plates or a kettle without looking cluttered.
The frame and legs are solid mahogany. The carcass is plywood wrapped in ash veneer, so the panels stay stable while the grain stays visible under the finish. Paint is a low-odor formulation from Dabao, applied flat rather than glossy — the ash reads through it, including the natural variation from board to board. There is no upholstery and no hardware-heavy detailing; the material does the work.
Use it against a dining room wall as a buffet and tea station, or set it freestanding where the kitchen meets the living space and let it divide the two. It stands on its own feet and does not need to be anchored to the wall.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
