Description
The SZ220 is a French-style desk made in solid mahogany, with the top, frame and legs all in the same solid wood rather than veneer over a composite core.
The design follows the French furniture vocabulary without overdoing it. The rectangular top is kept clean in line, with carved detailing along the edge and apron; the legs are cabriole, tapering naturally from top to floor so the piece sits light in a room. A deep brown lacquered finish lets the mahogany grain and the carving read clearly under changing light.
In use, it works as a writing desk and equally as a computer desk. The rectangular surface leaves room for paper and notebooks while still accommodating a monitor and keyboard. Place it in a study as the main work surface, or in a bedroom or living room corner as a reading and occasional work spot. Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
