Description
The 1740 Series round table takes a vintage cue and keeps it restrained: a round top on a single pedestal base, letting proportion and wood tone do the work instead of ornament. The glossy brown finish reads with depth in daylight and under lamplight, and holds its own against dark floors or pale walls.
The frame is built from American poplar solids, and the top is laid in imported cherry veneer parquet — the veneer is arranged in a pattern rather than laid as a single sheet, which asks more of the build at assembly and sanding. A Valspar finish is used on the surface, with a gloss sheen that lets the cherry grain read clearly.
A round table has no head, so conversation stays even whether it's family on a weeknight or guests at a dinner. The pedestal base also opens up the space underneath, so no one is working around a leg. Sized for use as the main dining table in a home dining room.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
