Description
The Elizabeth II roll-top dresser takes an American vintage court direction. The black-and-gilt painted finish and solid copper trim give it a composed, grounded presence rather than a showy one.
The cabinet is built in solid birch and finished with Sherwin-Williams paint, with gilt detailing worked over the black ground. The curved roll-top is the structural center of the piece: the lid slides along a curved track, closing to form a continuous flat surface and opening to reveal the storage compartment. The lid edge is wrapped in solid copper trim, and the body carries carved copper ornaments and solid copper pulls, with a copper face panel. The copper reads clearly against the black lacquer.
The rectangular freestanding form can stand on its own. In a bedroom it serves as a dresser, and with the roll-top closed the surface takes on everyday objects. In an entryway it works as a console, where the copper trim and gilt detail hold up to close viewing. It can also serve as a secretary cabinet, with the open lid providing a surface for writing or sorting.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
