Description
Design A restrained piece in the Italian-minimalist vein: the Carson desk keeps a simple rectangular top, and the only materials you read are wood grain and metal. Nothing is applied for decoration. The smoked finish sits in the deeper brown range, so the grain shows more in natural light and holds up against both pale walls and darker woodwork.
Material and finish The top uses a plywood and MDF core with a real wood veneer, left with natural variation in grain direction and tone. The frame and legs are metal, finished in brushed antique bronze — a low-sheen surface that plays warm wood against cool metal. The structure is fixed: it does not fold and does not extend, which keeps the work surface consistent.
Where it works A continuous rectangular top leaves room for a monitor, a laptop and a writing area at once, so it settles easily into a study, a home-office corner or a standalone workroom. Because the lines stay simple and the footprint reads light, it also works in an open study at the edge of a living space — a good choice when the room dimensions are already settled and you want one piece to anchor the workspace.

- If something arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days of delivery with photos or video, and we will refund the damaged portion.
- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.
- Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
How does inspection before shipping work?
