A new-Chinese single-seat accent chair in solid Wujin wood, with a deep brown lacquered finish and an upholstered seat. Open back and shaped arms keep the silhouette light. Works as a desk chair, a tea chair, or a quiet corner seat in the living room.
Description
The Yueji collection from Dongsheng takes the Chinese furniture vocabulary and trims it down. This chair is a good example: an open back, arms that follow the line of the frame, and a deep brown finish that lets the grain do the talking rather than ornament. It settles into a white-walled room or a warm wood interior without fighting either.
The frame and legs are both solid Wujin wood, a timber with a natural scent and a warm hand. The lacquered surface keeps the color even and is straightforward to wipe down. The seat is upholstered, adding a layer of give over the wood frame so longer reading sessions or a slow cup of tea don't turn hard.
Where it goes is fairly open. Pull it up to a desk and it's a desk chair; set it in a tea area and it's a tea chair; leave it in a corner of the living room and it becomes the seat people drift to. The single-seat footprint stays compact enough for smaller apartments.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
