A compact new-Chinese-style stool from Dongsheng's Yueji series. Solid wood frame and legs with a faux leather upholstered seat, armless and backless, sized to tuck under a vanity or sit beside a tea table.

Description

The YJ61F-1 from the Yueji series is drawn in a new Chinese idiom: clean lines, no ornament, and a low profile that lets the surrounding furniture lead. It reads as quiet rather than plain.

The frame, legs and body are solid wood in a brown tone, with grain that runs naturally across the piece. The seat is upholstered in faux leather, a soft counterpoint to the wood and easy to wipe down. Because it is armless and backless, the rectangular stool pushes fully under a vanity, which matters in a small bedroom.

Use it at a dressing table, beside a tea table in the living room, or as a spare seat in an entryway. The construction is fixed; the stool does not fold or stack.

Frequently asked questions

Where does your furniture come from?

We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.

What's the quality like?

A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.

Is there anything I should know before ordering?

Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:

  • Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
  • Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
  • Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.

Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?

Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.

What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?

The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.

How does inspection before shipping work?
