An American-style long bench from: a cream imported cotton seat over a sandblasted, distressed metal base, finished with AKZO NOBEL paint. Armless and backless, it works at the foot of a bed, in an entryway, or along a wall. Knock-down construction makes it easier to carry in and move around.
Description
The 742-823 keeps to a straightforward American vocabulary: a cream cotton seat over a metal base, with clean straight lines and no arms or back. It stays quiet in a room rather than competing with everything around it.
The seat is imported cotton in a cream tone that sits easily against wood floors, rugs, and darker walls. Base and frame are both metal, sandblasted to a matte, slightly granular finish, and coated with AKZO NOBEL paint — the point is a lived-in surface rather than a bright, polished new-metal shine.
Because the bench is long and narrow, it earns its place in several spots: at the foot of a bed for pulling on shoes, in an entryway as a place to sit while lacing up, or against a wall for occasional extra seating, a folded throw, or a tray. It ships knock-down, which makes getting it through a door and up a stair easier.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
