Description
This crane and egret sculpture comes from Digao Meiju and works a classic Chinese auspicious motif. The birds stand upright with clean, restrained lines, so the piece holds a console, side table, or study desk without crowding the room.
The construction is what the Chinese call copper-wrapped porcelain: a hand-carved pure copper core forms the inner structure, then a ceramic layer is applied over it, hand-painted, and fired at high temperature. The copper gives the figure its rigidity and sense of weight; the ceramic brings a glossy, light-catching surface. That contrast between cool metal and warm glaze is the main point of the piece. The blue-green glaze is on the muted side and sits comfortably with both dark and light wood furniture.
Because the painting is done by hand, brushwork is not identical from one piece to the next — a visible difference from printed, mass-produced ornaments. It fits new-Chinese, Japanese, and mixed-style interiors, whether as a desk object or a gift.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.
- Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
How does inspection before shipping work?
