A freestanding serving cart in the classic English manner, built in solid beech and finished in imported Sherwin-Williams paint. Soft grey-blue sets the tone against cream and pink, with a hand-painted branch-and-bird motif on the top, solid copper edge trim and copper handles. Silent casters on all four feet.
Description
This cart takes the classic English serving silhouette and quiets it down: a grey-blue body, cream and pink layering, and a top hand-painted with branches and birds. The palette stays restrained, so it reads as furniture rather than as a decorative object competing with the table it sits beside.
The frame and top are solid beech — a close, even-grained hardwood well suited to something meant to be loaded, pushed and parked. The surface is finished in imported Sherwin-Williams paint, which keeps a clear sense of the grain underneath. A solid copper band runs around the tabletop edge, and the handles are solid copper as well; both will darken naturally with handling and set a warm note against the cool grey-blue.
The silent casters are what separate this piece from a fixed sideboard. Breakfast, afternoon tea, glassware, plating before service — the whole cart moves to where it is needed and rolls back out of the way afterwards. Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
