A square side table from 's French-inspired collection, built in Russian birch with a distressed champagne gold finish and cabriole legs. Scaled to sit beside a sofa or armchair, and equally at home as a bedside or entry table.
Description
ET3822 is the smallest piece in 's French-inspired collection: a compact square table that puts a classical silhouette into a footprint you can actually fit beside a chair. The top stays square while the legs curve inward at the knee and flare back out at the foot, giving the table a bit of movement without making it fussy.
The body is Russian birch. Birch has a fine, even grain and takes turning well, which is why the cabriole legs come out with a clean, continuous line. The surface is finished in a distressed champagne gold — warm, slightly greyed, and deliberately not mirror-bright. The worn edges let the metallic tone sit closer to aged brass than to polished gold, so it reads well against dark wood floors and plain upholstery alike.
In use it is a table for the things in your hand: a cup, a book, a remote, set down next to a sofa or armchair. It also works as a bedside table, a transitional corner table in a study, or a drop spot in an entry. Because the top is square, it tucks against a wall or slides into the narrow gap between two chairs with little fuss.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
How does inspection before shipping work?
Every piece is inspected on video before it leaves the warehouse, and we send you the footage to approve — only after you confirm do we load the container. We check appearance, structure, hardware and that all parts are present.
Can I return an item?
All sales are final for subjective reasons (change of mind, wrong size, colour variance, how it looks in place) — these are direct-showroom goods priced accordingly. If something arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days with photos or video and we refund the damaged portion; we will not ask you to ship furniture back. Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.
