The CY973 is an American-style dining chair built on a carved solid mahogany frame, with top-grain leather across the seat and back. Diamond tufting, nailhead trim and a deep brown lacquered finish give it a formal, traditional presence at the dining table.
Description
The CY973 follows classic American proportions: a tall, full backrest, a deep seat and a frame that reads substantial next to a solid wood dining table rather than thin and lightweight.
The frame and legs are both solid mahogany, carved before finishing, so the grain and the carved detail stay visible under the deep brown lacquer. Seat and back are upholstered in top-grain leather, which holds its shape through long dinners. The backrest is a one-piece construction, pulled into a diamond tufted pattern that gives it genuine relief, while a line of nailhead trim runs around the seat edge — the detail most people notice first.
Because the chair is armless, it sits close to the table and slides underneath when the meal is over. The seat cushion is fixed, so it stays put as people get up and sit down. The deep brown finish pairs naturally with walnut and cherry tones, and works in American traditional, vintage and mixed dining rooms.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
