A vintage dining chair built on a solid mahogany frame, with carved detailing running through the legs and back. The high back is tufted and the seat is wrapped in leather, outlined with nailhead trim. No arms, so it slides fully under the table.
Description
The CY742 is a dining chair with a vintage vocabulary, kept restrained rather than ornate. The carving follows the frame and legs and is cut into solid mahogany, so the depth comes from the wood itself instead of a pressed pattern on a veneer. A deep brown stain pulls the grain into focus and gives the carved turns more shadow.
The upholstery carries the other half of the design. The high back is button-tufted, which gives the surface a firm, structured feel against your back, and the seat is wrapped in leather over fixed foam — nothing to shift or straighten after a meal. Nailhead trim runs along the seat edge as a clean closing detail that echoes both the tufting and the carving.
Going armless is the practical part: the chair slides completely under the table, which matters in tighter dining rooms and open kitchen layouts. It's most at home in a set around a dining table, but it holds its own as a single chair in a study, entryway or alongside a kitchen counter.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
