Description
The CY740 is a dining chair built in the American style. The back, frame and legs are all mahogany solid wood, finished with a deep brown stain that leaves the grain and natural variation of the timber visible rather than covering it. It sits comfortably alongside dark wood dining tables and leather upholstery.
The chair is armless with a high back. The back panel carries a carved pattern, and a line of nailhead trim runs along its edge, so the visual weight sits high on the chair rather than reading thin from across the room.
The seat is top-grain leather — a detail typical of traditional American furniture. With no arms, sitting down and getting up are unhindered, and the chair slides close to the table once the meal is over, keeping the walkway clearer.
It is intended mainly for dining rooms, but works just as well as a side chair in a living room or at a desk. The frame is fixed: the chair does not fold or stack, so it suits a home with a set place for it.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
