Description
The CY1026 is built around a French silhouette: a carved mahogany frame, a tall back, and leather wrapping the seat and backrest. The dark brown finish keeps it from feeling decorative for its own sake — it sits comfortably in a room without demanding to be the only thing you look at.
The backrest is button tufted, so the leather pulls into soft hollows and rises between them, giving the chair a full, layered front. That upholstery is set inside the carved wood frame rather than over it, which keeps the transition between wood and leather clean and avoids a padded, overstuffed look. Nailhead trim traces the back edge as a finishing line.
The frame, back and legs are all solid mahogany, with carving running along the crest and border in a continuous pattern. Because the chair is armless, the profile stays narrow enough to line several side by side without crowding, and you can slide in and out without turning sideways.
It works best in a dining room with some weight to it — a long wood table, darker floors, brass or dark metal lighting. Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
