A vintage oval fruit bowl basket in copper and ceramic: hand-carved copper frame, 1300°C ice-crackle glazed bowl, hand-painted pale blue ground with pink florals and gold rim. Made for the living room coffee table or dining table.
Description
This fruit bowl basket is built from two materials: a copper basket frame that carries and supports, and a ceramic bowl that holds. The contrast between them is the point of the piece.
The metal is hand-carved copper, with detailing worked into the handle and basket body. The ceramic is fired at 1300°C, which brings out an ice-crackle glaze — fine, layered lines that catch the light. The bowl is hand-painted in pale blue with pink florals and a gold rim, so the brushwork and gold line will not be identical from one piece to the next.
The oval shape sits more naturally on a coffee table or dining table than a square bowl, and the basket handle lets you move it between living room, dining room and kitchen. The vintage brown metal against pale blue glaze pairs well with wood and fabric furniture, and it works as a standing display piece on a sideboard.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.
- Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
