A single-seat lounge chair from Commune, built on a solid ash base and upholstered in bouclé. The full swivel lets you turn without getting up, while the armless, low-back profile keeps the silhouette quiet in a living room, bedroom or study.
Description
The Tunney lounge chair comes from Singapore-based Commune and follows a contemporary, pared-back line: no arms, a low back, and a silhouette that stays out of the way next to a sofa or in front of a window.
Seat and back are upholstered in the same bouclé fabric, its looped grain catching light and shifting tone as you move around it. The beige-grey colourway is a quiet neutral that works with pale wood, linen and leather alike. Beneath it, the solid ash base brings a visible wood grain that plays against the coarser texture above.
The functional point is the swivel. Once seated, you turn with the chair — from reading to talking to watching — without getting up. A single integrated cushion and a low back let you settle back naturally. It reads as a personal lounge seat in a living room, and just as well in a bedroom or the corner of a study.

- If something arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days of delivery with photos or video, and we will refund the damaged portion.
- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.
- Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
