Description
The 5508K5 belongs to China Concept's New Fifth Generation series, which reinterprets a classic Chinese arhat bed with a pared-back New Chinese line. The low back and slim arms keep the silhouette open, so the piece settles into a room rather than dominating it, and the beige cotton-linen upholstery reads easily against wood, stone, or neutral walls.
The frame and legs are both metal, giving the daybed a stable base, while the joinery follows a mortise-and-tenon approach for a cleaner, hardware-light look. The single seat cushion is removable, so it can be lifted out for everyday tidying or swapped when you want a different tone in the room.
Rectangular in plan, it works pushed against a wall or pulled out as a soft divider between zones. Use it in a living room for extra seating, in a study or tea room for reading and long conversation, or in a guest room as a daybed. Cushion colour is shown in the product video.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
