The BV01 is a freestanding sliding-door bookcase from B&V that also works as a display cabinet. The body is built in imported European beech and faced in imported walnut burl veneer, so the grain falls a little differently on every panel. The sliding doors move side to side, meaning nothing has to be kept clear in front of the unit. Deep brown finish, custom hardware throughout. At home in a living room, study, or hallway.
Description
The BV01 is a sliding-door bookcase that works equally well as a display cabinet. The design is original and glam in direction, and the cabinet is freestanding: the rectangular body sits flush against a wall, while the doors slide sideways rather than swinging out, so no clearance is needed in front of it. That makes it easier to place along a full living-room wall or in a passageway.
The body is built in solid imported European beech, faced in imported walnut burl veneer. Walnut burl grain forms irregular clusters, so the pattern shifts slightly from panel to panel instead of repeating. The veneered finish is deep brown and restrained, and reads well against metal, stone, or pale walls.
Inside, storage sits behind the doors — a place for books, art volumes, objects, and everyday items. Closed, the cabinet presents a clean, continuous front. Custom hardware is used at the sliding-door mechanism and other working points.
Suited to a full-wall arrangement in a living room, book storage in a study, or as a storage and display piece in a hallway or beside a dining area.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
