Description
The Britain House solid wood vanity desk takes its cues from American vintage and mid-. The antique white finish isn't a flat, cold white — it carries a slightly worn, warm tone that settles into a bedroom or study without demanding attention.
It's built entirely from solid wood: frame, legs and top are all solid, using North American FAS gold-thread rosewood with a clear, tight grain and a substantial feel. The frame is assembled with mortise-and-tenon reinforcement, so the joints don't rely on hardware alone to carry the load — it stays steady when you lean in to write. The surface is finished with a qianye lacquer process, which is where the layered antique white comes from.
The rectangular top works as a desk on its own, or as a dressing table when paired with a mirror. The footprint is compact, making it a practical fit for smaller bedrooms, guest rooms or a study corner. It's also available in black for pairing with different wood tones and wall colors.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
