An American vintage round dining table from Britain House, built entirely from solid North American FAS-grade red oak with mortise-and-tenon reinforced joinery and a four-leg base. Natural oak top, deep walnut-toned base, lacquered finish.
Description
This is a round dining table in the American vintage mid-century vein: a softly rounded top, no applied ornament, and proportions that do the talking. The top is finished in a natural oak tone, the base in a deep walnut tone, so the table reads as two layers rather than one heavy mass — it holds its own against pale walls without darkening the room.
The build is solid wood throughout. Top, frame and legs are all solid timber, in North American FAS-grade red oak — a species with a pronounced, open grain that becomes the main visual content of the table. The surface carries a Qianye lacquer finish, evenly applied, with the oak grain visible beneath it. The frame is reinforced with mortise-and-tenon joinery and stands on four solid wood legs. The top is fixed and does not extend.
A round table has no head and no foot, which makes passing dishes and talking across the table easier for everyone seated. It suits a square dining room or the space beside an open kitchen, and the deep walnut-toned base sits comfortably with wood floors, rattan or upholstered chairs, and mid-century or eclectic rooms.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
