A blue-and-white dragon egg sculpture combining carved pure copper with ceramic fired at 1300°C, finished with a crackle glaze and hand-painted motifs. The oval form and cool metal against warm porcelain make it a quiet accent for a study, entryway, or display shelf.

Description

This dragon egg sculpture takes its cue from traditional Chinese blue-and-white porcelain. The oval body is full and rounded, and the blue-on-white palette stays restrained, so it sits quietly on a desk or shelf while still rewarding a closer look.

The construction pairs copper with ceramic. The pure copper section is carved, keeping the cool, crisp character of metal, while the ceramic is fired at 1300°C and develops an ice-crackle glaze that spreads naturally across the surface. The two materials meet in one object, one cold and one warm.

The blue-and-white motifs are painted entirely by hand. Line weight and pigment density shift with the brush, so no two pieces are identical in detail, which is normal for hand-painted work.

It works as a single accent in a study, entryway, living room display shelf, or on a desk, and fits comfortably into Chinese-style interiors. Placed on its own it holds its ground, and it pairs easily with books, tea ware, and wood furniture.

  • We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Frequently asked questions

Where does your furniture come from?

We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.

What's the quality like?

A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.

Is there anything I should know before ordering?

Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:

  • Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
  • Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
  • Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.

Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?

Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.

What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?

The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.

How does inspection before shipping work?

Every piece is inspected on video before it leaves the warehouse, and we send you the footage to approve — only after you confirm do we load the container. We check appearance, structure, hardware and that all parts are present.

Can I return an item?
