A new Chinese vanity from the Shui Mo Dan Qing collection, built entirely in solid Gabon walnut — frame, legs and top in the same wood. The lacquered surface keeps the walnut's natural grain visible. Description
The Shui Mo Dan Qing collection takes a restrained approach to new Chinese design. This vanity is a flat top on four straight legs — clean outline, no stacked carving — so it settles into a bedroom without crowding it, and sits easily alongside furniture you already own. The mirror comes from the same collection and is proportioned to the table rather than added on afterward.
The top, frame and legs are all solid Gabon walnut, consistent from surface to floor. The wood's interleaved light and dark grain reads clearly under the lacquered finish, which is where solid wood separates itself most obviously from veneered pieces.
It is meant for the bedroom: against a wall or in a corner, paired with a stool, and the dressing area is complete. Four legs and open space beneath mean nothing presses against your knees when you sit. The rectangular top also holds everyday items beyond the makeup itself. Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
