From Beson's Ink Wash collection, the 3503C is a solid Gabonese ovangkol dining chair. Back, seat, frame and legs are all the same solid hardwood. Deep brown lacquer, square armless seat, vertical slat back. A natural pairing with a solid wood dining table.
Description
The 3503C comes from the Ink Wash (Shuimo Danqing) collection, where traditional Chinese furniture forms are stripped down to essentials. A vertical slat back, a square seat and a clean, armless profile keep the chair firmly modern, while the deep brown lacquer and visible grain hold on to its cabinetmaking roots.
Every component you touch — back, seat, frame and legs — is solid Gabonese ovangkol, a dense hardwood with pronounced figure. There is no upholstery anywhere on the chair: the seat is shaped wood, so it stays cool in warm rooms and wipes down in seconds. The lacquered finish deepens the brown tone and protects the surface through daily meals.
Because there are no arms, the chair slides in close and sits comfortably in a row along a table edge. It is a fixed frame — not foldable, not stackable — built to stay put. - We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
