An imported solid-wood chair from British furniture house Bally William. Built entirely from Indonesian mahogany hardwood with hand-carved detailing, brass fittings and an antique finish. The armless slat back slides under a dining table, and it works just as well at a desk. Model A2004 is etched on the back.
Description
This solid-wood chair comes to us from Bally William, a British furniture house, and it reads as an antique piece rather than a modern dining chair. The armless frame and slatted back keep the silhouette quiet, so it sits behind the table instead of competing with the room. Pull it out and it makes an equally good desk or office chair.
The chair is made entirely from solid wood — frame, legs and back — in Indonesian mahogany hardwood, with brass fittings at the details. The carving is done by hand and the surface is finished in an antique tone, which is why grain direction and patina differ slightly from one chair to the next.
It does not fold and does not stack; this is a fixed chair meant to be lived with. Each piece carries the model number A2004 etched on the back.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
