An imported antique chest from Bally William's 1837 collection, offered as a discontinued piece. Case, frame and legs are all solid Indonesian mahogany, with hand-carved detailing, brass hardware and a distressed vintage finish. Drawer storage makes it equally at home as a sideboard, entryway cabinet or chest of drawers.
Description
Design The A2004 belongs to Bally William's 1837 antique collection. A rectangular, freestanding case in a deep reddish-brown mahogany tone, finished with a distressed surface that reads clearly as an older piece rather than a modern reproduction. It sits comfortably alongside wood floors, warm wall colours and traditional or mid-century interiors.
Materials and Craft The cabinet is 100% solid wood, built from Indonesian mahogany hardwood — case, frame and legs alike. The carving is done by hand, and the piece is fitted with brass hardware. A product number, A2004, is etched on the back of each unit.
Use It stands on its own against a wall and offers closed drawer storage. In an entryway it works as a hallway cabinet; in a dining room it serves as a sideboard for table linen, tableware and everyday clutter; on its own it is simply a chest of drawers.
Condition This is imported discontinued stock from an antique furniture line, not a current mass-production item.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
