An imported, discontinued hand-carved five-drawer dresser from the Britain Antique furniture line by Bally William. Built entirely from solid Indonesian mahogany with hand-carved detailing, brass hardware and a distressed brown finish. Five drawers make it equally useful as a bedroom dresser or a dining room sideboard.
Description
Bally William is the Britain Antique furniture line, and this A2004 five-drawer dresser is an imported piece from a discontinued run. The look is vintage: a distressed brown finish that lets the grain and carving read in uneven layers, the way older furniture does after decades of use.
The case is 100% solid wood, with Indonesian mahogany hardwood as the primary material and solid wood used for the frame and legs as well. Drawer fronts and case edges are hand-carved, brass hardware adds the detail, and the model number is etched on the back.
Five drawers give you room to sort table linens, silverware, media or clothing; the rectangular case stands freely, so it can sit in a bedroom as a dresser or move into a dining room as a sideboard. A glass panel or marble slab needs to be supplied separately for the top panel opening. Because each piece is solid wood with a distressed finish, grain pattern and wear marks vary from one unit to the next.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
