From the Bally William 1837 antique line, imported and discontinued. Solid Indonesian mahogany hardwood throughout, with hand-carved detailing, brass fittings and a distressed finish. Round seat, open solid wood back and arms, cotton-linen upholstery, product number A2004 etched on the backrest.
Description
The Bally William 1837 line is a British antique furniture collection. This A2004 hand-carved chair is imported and discontinued — once the remaining pieces are gone, there will be no restock.
Frame and legs are solid Indonesian mahogany hardwood, 100% solid wood. Carving is done by hand, so the detailing shifts slightly from piece to piece. Brass fittings and a distressed finish give it the aged character of the original, in a deep brown mahogany tone that sits easily alongside wood, leather or fabric furniture.
The seat is round, paired with an open solid wood back and integrated arms. The cotton-linen seat is firm rather than soft, so your back is carried by the wood frame instead of sinking in. The cushion is not removable.
It suits a living room reading corner, a home office desk or an entryway. The product number A2004 is etched on the back of the backrest.

- If something arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days of delivery with photos or video, and we will refund the damaged portion.
- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
