An original-import Bally William 1837 dining set in 100% solid wood. Indonesian mahogany hardwood, hand-carved detailing, brass hardware and antique-finish linen upholstery, on cabriole solid wood legs. Set includes one dining table and six chairs.
Description
The Bally William 1837 dining set is an original imported, out-of-production piece in a vintage idiom. A deep brown distressed finish runs across the tabletop and chair frames, and the wood is Indonesian mahogany hardwood: top, frame and legs are all solid wood, with no veneer.
The table is rectangular and stands on cabriole solid wood legs, accented with brass hardware. Chairs are upholstered in antique-finish linen for a formal, traditional seat. The set ships as one table plus six chairs, and a table-plus-four-chairs configuration is also available. Each piece is etched with product number D2033 on the back.
At home in a dining room or a dedicated dining area, it sits well against dark wood flooring and period architectural detail.

- If something arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days of delivery with photos or video, and we will refund the damaged portion.
- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.
- Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
