Description
The AY LAZZARO turtle ottoman takes an American vintage cue, its rounded turtle form working as both a footrest and a sculptural piece in the living room.
The upholstery is 100% full bison leather sourced from the western United States, processed with the traditional methods of the LAZZARO family leather workshop, established in 1836 in southern Italy, using lime degreasing and tree-oil techniques. The extra-thick hide carries a pronounced grain, with each ottoman consuming close to a full hide. The surface shows a vintage, brushed, or crackled effect, and natural grain variation is part of the material.
The frame is solid Indonesian mahogany, finished with hand-carved marks, smoke traces, wormholes, punched details, and hand-file texture that echo the aged leather. Nailhead trim along the edge adds a further layer of vintage detail.
Place it beside a sofa as a footrest, use it as casual seating, or let it stand alone as a shaped accent piece.

- If something arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days of delivery with photos or video, and we will refund the damaged portion.
- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.
- Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
