An American-style nightstand built entirely in solid rubberwood, with a reddish brown lacquered finish applied through a thirteen-step process. The clean rectangular silhouette suits traditional, vintage, and mixed bedroom settings.
Description
The 883 nightstand takes the classic American approach: a restrained silhouette carried by the wood itself rather than ornament. The case and legs are both solid rubberwood, sourced from Thailand, with a fine, straight grain that reads clearly under the reddish brown finish. It sits comfortably in traditional, vintage, and mixed-style bedrooms.
The finish is where most of the work went. An NC low-odor lacquer is built up over thirteen separate coating steps, giving an even film and a warm, wood-forward brown that avoids looking glossy or synthetic. Because the lacquer is low-odor, the settling-in period after delivery is shorter than with conventional finishes.
The rectangular case is proportioned to sit close to the bed without taking up much width. The top holds a lamp, a clock, and a book; the interior keeps everyday items out of sight. Solid wood throughout, non-folding, and stable once placed. Made in a large Guangdong factory, and straightforward to order as a pair for either side of the bed.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
How does inspection before shipping work?
Every piece is inspected on video before it leaves the warehouse, and we send you the footage to approve — only after you confirm do we load the container. We check appearance, structure, hardware and that all parts are present.
Can I return an item?
All sales are final for subjective reasons (change of mind, wrong size, colour variance, how it looks in place) — these are direct-showroom goods priced accordingly. If something arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days with photos or video and we refund the damaged portion; we will not ask you to ship furniture back. Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.
