Description
This is an American-style single-seat sofa drawn from the proportions of a traditional American lounge chair: rolled arms, a generous seat and back, and nailhead trim running along the front of each arm. There is no button tufting, so the lines stay clean and the piece settles into a room without demanding attention.
The frame and legs are both made of imported solid beech — a dense, fine-grained hardwood that holds up well as a load-bearing structure. Seat and back are upholstered in fabric, giving a softer surface that contrasts with the wood frame. The fabric is a dusty blue: low in saturation, sitting between grey and blue, so it works alongside light oak, off-white linen, or darker leather seating.
Where it earns its place is as a single seat. Pull it up beside the main sofa to close off a conversation corner; set it in the study as a chair you actually sit down in; place it by the window in a bedroom without needing to match a full suite. Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
