An English-style writing desk in solid mahogany, topped with rosewood veneer and a glossy red-brown finish. The inset writing panel is imported full-grain crackle oil-wax leather, warm under the hand. Three drawers keep stationery and files close, so it works as well in a home study as in a corner of the living room.
Description
A study takes its character from the desk in it. The ALEXANDE YZ-WD006 follows English furniture proportions — cabriole legs, a substantial top, and a free-form outline rather than a strict rectangle. The red-brown tone is quiet enough to sit in the middle of a study, under a window, or as a standalone work spot in a living room.
The body is solid mahogany, with frame and legs in solid wood throughout. The top is finished in rosewood veneer, so two wood tones meet under the gloss and read as separate layers as light moves across them. Set into the centre of the top is an imported full-grain crackle oil-wax leather panel that keeps its natural cracks and waxy hand — you write on leather, not bare wood.
Three drawers sit below the top, sized for pens, notes, files and charging cables, leaving the surface to a screen, paper and whatever is in reach. The desk arrives as a knock-down set, so it can be carried into a room in pieces. Suited to a home study, a home office, or a bedroom corner that needs a proper writing surface.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
